On 30th September, the European Small Volume Car Manufacturers Alliance (ESCA) held its third Quarterly Meeting of 2024.
Members engaged in insightful discussions about the most recent political and legislative developments at EU level. Including discussions on the potential earlier review of the Regulation on CO2 emission standards for light-duty vehicles as well as the ongoing investigation on the import of Chinese EVs.
ESCA members reflected on the potential impacts of these issues on small-volume manufacturers and agreed on a course of action to ensure that the sectors unique characteristics are continued to be considered in the next EU mandate.
